A consultation involves doing a health history assessment, discussing your medical or aesthetics goals, costs of treatment and pre/post procedure care. Consults can also be helpful if you are wanting a treatment but unsure what treatment type you need. We are happy to discuss our treatments and products to make a plan that aligns with your goals.
We are committed to providing you high quality, personalized care. To be mindful of your time and ours, we require a deposit fee for your consultation. Once you have your consultation, this fee will be used towards products or treatment of your choice.
Please give 24 hours notice if you are needing to cancel an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a cancellation fee.
We love children and pets; however, due to the physical space and the nature of treatments we do not allow children or pets in appointments. This helps us ensure we maintain your safety. Please note service dogs are welcome.
If you are running late, please email info@gloamedaesthetics.ca. If you are more than 15 minutes late, please note we may not be able to complete your treatment. We do book our appointments back to back and want to mindful of all our clients time.
Treatment costs vary depending on the nature of the treatment. Some treatments are more cost effective to purchase in a package, such as microneedling and PRP. Things to consider with the cost of a treatment are costs of product used and equipment to perform the procedure. Treatment costs are similar to those offered down South in similar type clinics.
Depending on your aesthetic goals, you should plan to have your treatments done at least 2-4 weeks before any major function to ensure you are pleased with the results. It also allows time for recovery and to make any modifications/adjustments to your treatments if needed.
Generally, you should not wear make up for 24-48 hours after your treatment. If your treatment causes a break in the skin barrier, wearing makeup increases the risk of infection.
